I have had an interest in birth work since I was 15.

Before becoming a doula, I graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s in Human Physiology. Learning about everything from the respiratory system to viruses to aging gave me a unique perspective on the processes of pregnancy and birth.

I am a big animal lover! I currently work as a petsitter through Rover on the side, and I spent several months working at a doggy daycare. Right now I work as a cardiology scribe through ScribeAmerica, which exposes me to a lot of medical terminology and also gives me the opportunity to work on-call!

In my free time, I enjoy reading, chatting with friends, watching YouTube, and music (I was a choir kid for 10 years!).
